Yesterday it was raining cats and dogs at 4:00 a.m. when I woke up. I told my friends, David Breedlove, Wes Wright, Mark Billings, and Emily Billings that I did not want to go out and get totally soaked, so we went back to sleep. Evidently the front pushed on through sooner than expected because David woke me up at 7:00 a.m. and it was mostly blue skies outside at that time.

While we dressed, David went to McDonalds and bought breakfast for us to take with us. Of course all the good holes were taken when we arrived at our hunting place so I chose hole 15 to try for the morning.

We saw a few high ducks, but none low enough for us to work. We had zero day and I sure do hate that when I have my friends down to hunt.
